Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the match, Chivinave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berdaitz Urturi came free, but Seber Castriciones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Richie Ozaolaza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JUNIOR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Ozaolaza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Simao Regaño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xamo Arijola. JUNIOR FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simao Regaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Chivinave FC's Seber Castriciones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Chivinave FC from getting a goal against them. If Simao Regaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chivinave FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Celino Huercanos hit a great ball. Berdaitz Urturi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seber Castriciones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simao Regaño during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xamo Arijola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Pedriza in the 28th minute of play. Seber Castriciones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richie Ozaolaza in the 33rd minute. Celino Huercanos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simao Regaño in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamo Arijola saved JUNIOR FC from getting behind. Richie Ozaolaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seber Castriciones having to interfere. If Cristo Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simao Regaño made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Eladio Luna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xamo Arijola skillfully saved the ball. When Shantala Monsalve fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivinave FC's protests and gave Shantala Monsalve a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chivinave FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Shantala Monsalve hit a great ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Berdaitz Urturi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivinave FC's Seber Castriciones was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Berdaitz Urturi sped through Chivinave FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Seber Castriciones. Shantala Monsalve got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Shantala Monsalve hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nisio Barrantes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cristo Pedriza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xamo Arijola firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Chivinave FC booed when JUNIOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napier Briñas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benvide Poso fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JUNIOR FC's protests and gave Benvide Poso a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes JUNIOR FC got a freekick which was hit by Benvide Poso. In the 77th minute, Eladio Luna made a precise shot to the right of Xamo Arijola. JUNIOR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Boniel Traveso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Xamo Arijola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Berdaitz Urturi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUNIOR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to Chivinave FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ignado Mazo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chivinave FC's Celino Huercanos got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of JUNIOR FC booed when Chivinave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Luna didn't get a good kick on the ball. JUNIOR FC's Nisio Barrantes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chivinave FC. JUNIOR FC's Xamo Arijola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save JUNIOR FC from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chivinave FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for JUNIOR FC.
