Lopez Villarmerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Mazzire FC's goalkeeper Vidal Caroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lopez Villarmerin. Arsenio Neli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Vidal Caroso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vidal Caroso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lopez Villarmerin sent off a good shot on target. Karlo Herquinigo's late challenge caught a Goliath FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karlo Herquinigo helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Zeru Grimaldo in the 26th minute really tested Vidal Caroso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 30th minute Arsenio Neli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidal Caroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lopez Villarmerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Goliath FC's Lopez Villarmerin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidal Caroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vidal Caroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Neli in the 33rd minute of play. Lopez Villarmerin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Vidal Caroso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Lopez Villarmerin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vidal Caroso. Lopez Villarmerin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Vidal Caroso made a huge save. Arsenio Neli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Vidal Caroso 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Neli to make the kick off. Arsenio Neli struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Vidal Caroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goliath FC. Arsenio Neli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lopez Villarmerin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazzire FC's Vidal Caroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Neli in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Neli in the 71st minute of play forced Mazzire FC's goalkeeper Vidal Caroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Goliath FC booed when Mazzire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Goliath FC were awarded a corner. Zeru Grimaldo went to the cornerflag to take it. Arsenio Neli took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidal Caroso. Vidal Caroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arsenio Neli in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vidal Caroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidal Caroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Neli in the 87th minute of play. Vidal Caroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopez Villarmerin in the 88th minute of play. If Lopez Villarmerin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vidal Caroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Neli in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Neli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vidal Caroso was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goliath FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mazzire FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
