Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Efrain Pelayo got the match started through his kick off. Leonardo Ledo was a little too slow when Efrain Pelayo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mazzire FC's zone, Hulberto Muruve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidal Caroso came out of the goal and Hulberto Muruve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vidal Caroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aznaro Rendon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Efrain Pelayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazzire FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amapola the free kick. The supporters of Amapola booed when Mazzire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amapola's Hulberto Muruve managed to work through Mazzire FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Hulberto Muruve dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Efrain Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mazzire FC's Efrain Pelayo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hulberto Muruve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Ledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Pelayo in the 34th minute. When Karlo Herquinigo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Mazzire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karlo Herquinigo couldn't finish the play. Efrain Pelayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Ledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. When Karlo Herquinigo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mazzire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karlo Herquinigo couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hulberto Muruve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Caroso having to interfere. Hulberto Muruve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilixo Santoyo during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ilixo Santoyo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Vidal Caroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hulberto Muruve in the 70th minute. If Karlo Herquinigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karlo Herquinigo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Ledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Efrain Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Ledo having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Karlo Herquinigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Ledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hulberto Muruve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aznaro Rendon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Caroso having to interfere. There was no doubt that Mazzire FC were the better team. Mazzire FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
