Xulian Capitan might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliveiro Urquiola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xulian Capitan ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliveiro Urquiola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kelemen Tofiño went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Justino Truebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osasun Alamo made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osasun Alamo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garaona Ogazon saved Chichiguilotes F.C from getting behind. Garaona Ogazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Osasun Alamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveiro Urquiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulian Capitan in the 59th minute of the match. Oliveiro Urquiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kelemen Tofiño in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Chichiguilotes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Truebano to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Clis Guerrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveiro Urquiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chichiguilotes F.C's Garaona Ogazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osasun Alamo in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chichiguilotes F.C's zone, Osasun Alamo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garaona Ogazon came out of the goal and Osasun Alamo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Sao Luis F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Xulian Capitan came free, but Oliveiro Urquiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Sao Luis F.C's Osasun Alamo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garaona Ogazon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osasun Alamo in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garaona Ogazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sao Luis F.C booed when Chichiguilotes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrold Peso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sao Luis F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chichiguilotes F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
