The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yago Berriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Estefan Folch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bertran Pascual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estefan Folch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertran Pascual having to interfere. Yago Berriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlantz Senqui in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Anestians's Yago Berriz got control of the ball when Santiago Oruña tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Anestians's goalkeeper Yago Berriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Oruña. If Santiago Oruña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Santos Mayoral fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anestians's protests and gave Santos Mayoral a yellow card for diving instead. Yago Berriz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erlantz Senqui showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Senqui in the 28th minute of play forced Anestians's goalkeeper Yago Berriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Oruña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Yago Berriz made a huge save. Anestians's Yago Berriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Anestians from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute Erlantz Senqui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yago Berriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Santiago Oruña put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yago Berriz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bertran Pascual made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Estefan Folch sent off a good shot on target. If Estefan Folch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yago Berriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Botello in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anestians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Argina Sara was slow to take the kick. During this time ROLY FC's players had a chance to rest. Cesaro Revuelta made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santos Mayoral however managed to control. Yago Berriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Senqui, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The ROLY FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when ROLY FC's Erlantz Senqui looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in ROLY FC's zone, Estefan Folch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertran Pascual came out of the goal and Estefan Folch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertran Pascual made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pio Valdueza in the 83rd minute of play. Pio Valdueza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erlantz Senqui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Oruña in the 96th minute of play forced Anestians's goalkeeper Yago Berriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anestians's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
