Atlético Bucaramanga's Paulin Armiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurin Millera in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Casimiro Achueta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulin Armiaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eutor Laiz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Laurin Millera came free, but Paulin Armiaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurin Millera in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulin Armiaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eneto Bordales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneto Bordales in the 91st minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Paulin Armiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Bucaramanga's Tancredo Fernandez got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Tancredo Fernandez off the ground. The supporters of AC Calor booed when Atlético Bucaramanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tancredo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
