AC Calor's Francisco Bailey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Villela in the 16th minute of play. Francisco Bailey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xarles Arango, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Clementi Guiluz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Calor and the nacional pon players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Felix Villela came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the nacional pon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Villela couldn't finish the play. When Inigo Lamadrid fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Calor's protests and gave Inigo Lamadrid a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC Calor getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. AC Calor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave nacional pon the free kick.
