After having played for 3 minutes, Roderigo Robina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 4 played minutes DEPORTES TOLIMA got a freekick which was hit by Chorache Lugardo. 6 minutes into the match, C.A San Lorenzo's Roderigo Robina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Cuadrado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Cubas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Cubas hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Paolo Horcajo took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaspar Cuadrado. Gaspar Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes C.A San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Martino Villabel. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Rodney Cardeña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, C.A San Lorenzo's Martino Villabel got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Bonifaco Callejo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Cuadrado skillfully saved the ball. After 24 played minutes C.A San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Gelmiro Iñiguez. Bizen Fuentetaja charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bizen Fuentetaja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes DEPORTES TOLIMA got a freekick which was hit by Bizen Fuentetaja. Roderigo Robina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderigo Robina in the 29th minute of play. When Leopoldo Cubas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. In the 31st minute, Leopoldo Cubas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xerardo Pillado got free with Rodney Cardeña in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, DEPORTES TOLIMA's Xerardo Pillado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodney Cardeña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roderigo Robina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Xerardo Pillado made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Paolo Horcajo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Cuadrado. DEPORTES TOLIMA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo Horcajo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rodney Cardeña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Pillado in the 55th minute of play. When Martino Villabel fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A San Lorenzo's protests and gave Martino Villabel a yellow card for diving instead. Martino Villabel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A San Lorenzo's zone, Xerardo Pillado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Cardeña came out of the goal and Xerardo Pillado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in DEPORTES TOLIMA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DEPORTES TOLIMA! 80 minutes into the match, DEPORTES TOLIMA's goal looked a bit too open when Roderigo Robina came free, but Gaspar Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Gort during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, DEPORTES TOLIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Gort to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Cuadrado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eguerdi Horcasitas. Gaspar Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderigo Robina in the 85th minute of play. Roderigo Robina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Cuadrado having to make a save. A collision led to DEPORTES TOLIMA getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Guter Morelo hit a great ball. If Roderigo Robina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodney Cardeña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerardo Pillado in the 95th minute of play. DEPORTES TOLIMA's Gaspar Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roderigo Robina in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A San Lorenzo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
