They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Salvador Loma was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 97 minutes into the match, C.A San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Rodney Cardeña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guib Arana. Madero FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
