Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Somellero in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Ferreros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mirasol FC's Herminio Ferreros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Opilano Congey in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Club Deportivo Municipal booed when Mirasol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lidon Urtarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Opilano Congey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herminio Ferreros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Ferreros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Somellero in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Opilano Congey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Opilano Congey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Ferreros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Opilano Congey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jeronimo Inchaurdi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mirasol FC's protests and gave Jeronimo Inchaurdi a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Mirasol FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Inchaurdi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Opilano Congey really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Herminio Ferreros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Opilano Congey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Club Deportivo Municipal's Roberto Somellero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportivo Municipal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mirasol FC.
