Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faro Verlo kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Deportivo Pasto booed when Mirasol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lidon Urtarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lore Sanchez, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pasto's Etxekopar Canto got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Cristiano Noguer came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mirasol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Noguer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Deportivo Pasto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Santos Berrueta hit a great ball. Bidun Holgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Noguer in the 16th minute of play. Librado Govelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bidun Holgado having to interfere. Bidun Holgado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Herminio Ferreros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rosalio Trimiño went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Santos Berrueta hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Etxekopar Canto suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Librado Govelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Pasto's Bidun Holgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Noguer in the 54th minute of play. Peru Molinillo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bidun Holgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirasol FC. Claus Alborza kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Mirasol FC's Marko Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bidun Holgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mirasol FC reached it. Mirasol FC's Lidon Urtarte got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Noguer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mirasol FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Librado Govelo hit a great ball. Bidun Holgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Librado Govelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mirasol FC's Cristiano Noguer got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristiano Noguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bidun Holgado having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pasto's zone, Librado Govelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bidun Holgado came out of the goal and Librado Govelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Librado Govelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bidun Holgado having to make a save. Mirasol FC's Librado Govelo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosalio Trimiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
