Bortzaioriz Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guifre Areta in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Taguana getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Flavio Mañaria hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Taguana's goal looked a bit too open when Guifre Areta came free, but Bortzaioriz Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Madaleno Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Piendamo's Guifre Areta in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taguana's goalie prevented a goal. Piendamo's Jago Juara got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taguana's goalkeeper Bortzaioriz Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Guifre Areta came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Piendamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guifre Areta couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Madaleno Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bortzaioriz Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Piendamo's Madaleno Patiño made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bortzaioriz Aguirre was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Guifre Areta came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Piendamo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guifre Areta couldn't finish the play. Guifre Areta scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bortzaioriz Aguirre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inguma Brena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Inguma Brena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madaleno Patiño to strike the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Melcon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tello Tros in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Taguana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guifre Areta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th minute, Tello Tros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Madaleno Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bortzaioriz Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jago Juara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bortzaioriz Aguirre having to interfere. Bortzaioriz Aguirre didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Piendamo's Guifre Areta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After 71 played minutes Piendamo got a freekick which was hit by Inguma Brena. Guifre Areta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Bortzaioriz Aguirre made a huge save. Madaleno Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bortzaioriz Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Jago Juara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bortzaioriz Aguirre. Taguana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jago Juara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Guifre Areta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Bortzaioriz Aguirre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guifre Areta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bortzaioriz Aguirre having to interfere. The supporters of Taguana booed when Piendamo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madaleno Patiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Guifre Areta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bortzaioriz Aguirre, 0-5. 93 minutes into the match, Taguana's goal looked a bit too open when Madaleno Patiño came free, but Bortzaioriz Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Guifre Areta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piendamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guifre Areta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piendamo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
