In the 4th minute, Eron Basallan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and NACIONAL F.C's Zayvion Obaya didn't even have to move. Zayvion Obaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristofol Valls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicodemo Salantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batista Yanez went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nicodemo Salantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Ziarza in the 14th minute of the match. Jose Ziarza's late challenge caught a Zelandia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Ziarza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, NACIONAL F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Ziarza to maneuver through the defense. When Inigo Viesca, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zayvion Obaya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Pablo Padron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zayvion Obaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerico Fontao hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. NACIONAL F.C's Zayvion Obaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristofol Valls in the 34th minute of play. Zayvion Obaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inigo Viesca in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Zelandia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuelo Eureste to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute NACIONAL F.C were awarded a corner. Juan-Carlos Miña went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nicodemo Salantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Inigo Viesca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zayvion Obaya having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Ziarza in the 84th minute of play forced Zelandia FC's goalkeeper Nicodemo Salantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inigo Viesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zayvion Obaya came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Zelandia FC's Cristofol Valls. But to his dismay, Cristofol Valls quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zayvion Obaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inigo Viesca in the 96th minute of the match. The NACIONAL F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
