Baraquiel Alejos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bras Tigero went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Montrelle Ocomardia fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lejia's protests and gave Montrelle Ocomardia a yellow card for diving instead. Baraquiel Alejos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bizen Feijoo in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Bras Tigero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baraquiel Alejos. Misericordiosos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bras Tigero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bizen Feijoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baraquiel Alejos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Lejia's goalkeeper Silvestre Cebada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fortunato Herreros. In the 34th match minute, Lejia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isauro Rosal to maneuver through the defense. The Misericordiosos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lejia were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bizen Feijoo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bras Tigero struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Baraquiel Alejos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lejia. In the 55th minute, Bras Tigero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lejia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 62ndth minute of the game Bizen Feijoo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misericordiosos's Baraquiel Alejos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th match minute, Lejia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isauro Rosal to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Misericordiosos defense, Bras Tigero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baraquiel Alejos. The Misericordiosos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baraquiel Alejos should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the game, Lejia's Bras Tigero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baraquiel Alejos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Baraquiel Alejos made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Bras Tigero sent off a good shot on target. When Bizen Feijoo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Baraquiel Alejos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Claudinei Biñuela's late challenge caught a Lejia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Biñuela helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Misericordiosos's Claudinei Biñuela got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 86 minutes Misericordiosos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardino Villamarin who took care of the corner kick. When Bras Tigero came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lejia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bras Tigero couldn't finish the play. If Bizen Feijoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bizen Feijoo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Lejia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bizen Feijoo couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Lejia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Misericordiosos throughout the match.
