The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 3 minutes on the clock, Tiago Merchan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 3rd minute, one of atlético embajador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for atlético embajador. Rogerio Gaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zayvius Güell's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Aurre Sotorrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rogerio Gaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Gabirondo in the 16th minute of play forced atlético embajador's goalkeeper Gregory Urroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Jaume Gabirondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Urroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Muraki's Peru Velarde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregory Urroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurre Sotorrio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rogerio Gaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for atlético embajador. 36 minutes into the match, Muraki's goal looked a bit too open when Aurre Sotorrio came free, but Rogerio Gaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Aurre Sotorrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Muc Basagoitia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muraki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave atlético embajador the free kick. After 45 played minutes Muraki got a freekick which was hit by Salvidor Garavilla. The supporters of Muraki booed when atlético embajador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zayvius Güell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Muc Basagoitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurre Sotorrio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. atlético embajador's attack was well implemented in the 58th minute, but when Orlan Gobantes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Jaume Gabirondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Gregory Urroz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Todor Morillo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gregory Urroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaume Gabirondo in the 66th minute of play. Peru Velarde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Urroz having to interfere. Peru Velarde struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gregory Urroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muraki. If Peru Velarde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aurre Sotorrio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the atlético embajador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurre Sotorrio couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Aurre Sotorrio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The atlético embajador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 85th minute, Aurre Sotorrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inautzi Toyo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Rogerio Gaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for atlético embajador. A collision led to atlético embajador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zayvius Güell hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaume Gabirondo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Urroz saved atlético embajador from getting behind. atlético embajador's Gregory Urroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save atlético embajador from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Zayvius Güell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Jaume Gabirondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muraki's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaume Gabirondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Urroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the atlético embajador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
