Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iban Lecin made the kick off which started today's match. When Arsenio Gayoso came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC Cartagena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Gayoso couldn't finish the play. Firmin Brena hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Iban Lecin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Villamarin having to interfere. Andrew Valdespino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes FC Cartagena got a freekick which was hit by Ted Aoiz. In the 28th minute, Iban Lecin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Eliseo Orejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Cartagena's Llorenc Villamarin got control of the ball when Andrew Valdespino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes, FC Cartagena's Aznaro Gostioz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Blai Aguillar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Cartagena reached it. A collision led to Cabquita getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eneto Nuevo hit a great ball. FC Cartagena's Firmin Brena got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Cabquita's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Gayoso came free, but Blai Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blai Aguillar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Gayoso in the 38th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Firmin Brena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabquita's Blai Aguillar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blai Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firmin Brena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Cabquita's goal looked a bit too open when Firmin Brena came free, but Blai Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Firmin Brena made a kick off. Andrew Valdespino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iban Lecin in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llorenc Villamarin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Llorenc Villamarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iban Lecin in the 59th minute of play. FC Cartagena's Ted Aoiz pulled a muscle in his leg after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Cabquita getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jonatan Treceño hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Andrew Valdespino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabquita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Valdespino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Eliseo Orejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iban Lecin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iban Lecin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Llorenc Villamarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cabquita's Osorio Campelo got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, FC Cartagena's Arsenio Gayoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blai Aguillar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arsenio Gayoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Blai Aguillar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Reynardo Rabanal fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabquita's protests and gave Reynardo Rabanal a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew Valdespino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Cabquita's Iban Lecin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Llorenc Villamarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Iban Lecin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llorenc Villamarin having to interfere.
