In the 4th minute, Legends FC's Timeteo Azcoitia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Paulino Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatello Mendez in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Angelino Fuica notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Legends FC's Paulino Benitez. Paulino Benitez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Caamaño in the 14th minute of play. Severino Abres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Milian Salado having to make a save. Ildefonso Coraceras short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Milian Salado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paulino Benitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatello Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Legends FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after La Resistencia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zosimo Marentos took the corner. 36 minutes into the match, La Resistencia FC's goalkeeper Milian Salado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timeteo Azcoitia. In the 36th match minute, La Resistencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luzaide Lertora to maneuver through the defense. Seme Pose hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Angelino Fuica had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Benitez. Legends FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Fuica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half La Resistencia FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in La Resistencia FC's zone, Ildefonso Coracera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milian Salado came out of the goal and Ildefonso Coracera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Coracera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 minutes, Cornelio Carmona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legends FC and the La Resistencia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Cornelio Carmona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milian Salado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Areta in the 70th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 74 minutes into the game, when Cornelio Carmona put in a rough tackle. 78 minutes in the game Seme Pose did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Donatello Mendez. Milian Salado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timeteo Azcoitia in the 82nd minute of play. If Timeteo Azcoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Coracera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milian Salado having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Ildefonso Coracera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Legends FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Resistencia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for La Resistencia FC.
