In the 28th minute, Firme Villasana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unión Magdalena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 42 minutes into the match, Marz Turiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignatius Guardia. Unión Magdalena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marz Turiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Recino to make the kick off. Eriberto Perera made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Lucas Montesino sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 62 minutes, Nicolas Recino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club USTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Recino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club USTA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mancio Remiro hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match Casomiro Cabada dribbled himself free with the goalkeeper and finished off with shooting in 2-2 passed Eriberto Perera next to the left post. Nicolas Recino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unión Magdalena's Ignatius Guardia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusko Cabalar in the 73rd minute of play. During the 76th minute of the match Mannie Gian completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mannie Gian a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 81st minute, Nicolas Recino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatius Guardia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Gartxot Brunet kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Unión Magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tome Tiedra to maneuver through the defense.
