Perrando Valben came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Nazario could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chuse Gaztelumendi during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, PAPUS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bazkoare Pinos to maneuver through the defense. Bazkoare Pinos kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, PAPUS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oinaz Alfebra came free, but Alejandro Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perrando Valben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Nazario having to interfere. Perrando Valben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelio Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Perrando Valben managed to get in a good position for a shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in PAPUS FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Fonso Momparte shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oinaz Alfebra made a kick off. If Bazkoare Pinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Nazario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bazkoare Pinos's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Bazkoare Pinos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Nazario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Bazkoare Pinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bazkoare Pinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAPUS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bazkoare Pinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
