Eriberto Perera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perrando Valben in the 10th minute of the match. Alejandro Balanza came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Club USTA's Marz Turiel. But to his dismay, Marz Turiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chorche Barrientos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Eriberto Perera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilllermo Gibaja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mannie Gian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejandro Balanza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bazkoare Pinos made a kick off. Eriberto Perera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perrando Valben in the 53rd minute. Alejandro Balanza came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Club USTA's Marz Turiel. But to his dismay, Marz Turiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, PAPUS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlin Guanes came free, but Alejandro Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Nicolas Recino made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Balanza. PAPUS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as PAPUS FC's Perrando Valben slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eriberto Perera. That made the score 3-1 after 67 minutes of play. Eriberto Perera was a little too slow when Perrando Valben got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 74th minute, Ekain Esterina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mannie Gian came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Club USTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mannie Gian couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Marz Turiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Balanza was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Club USTA's Eriberto Perera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Club USTA from getting a goal against them. Nicolas Recino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Balanza having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Mancio Remiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club USTA and the PAPUS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PAPUS FC booed when Club USTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mancio Remiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. PAPUS FC's Vermudo Azua got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Recino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Alejandro Balanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Perera was a little too slow when Ekain Esterina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club USTA fans cheered their team off the field, for while PAPUS FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
