Umea Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladio Cañucal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baiarte Rincon in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Baiarte Rincon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Baiarte Rincon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Nazario. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 27th minute Ladio Cañucal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umea Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umea Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oinaz Alfebra in the 34th minute of the match. Umea Gavilanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oinaz Alfebra went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baiarte Rincon made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Baiarte Rincon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ladio Cañucal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladio Cañucal in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Umea Gavilanes saved Azulejos from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Aznar Urrechua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fonso Momparte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Oinaz Alfebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oinaz Alfebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umea Gavilanes having to interfere. Azulejos's Umea Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladio Cañucal in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Azulejos's zone, Ladio Cañucal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umea Gavilanes came out of the goal and Ladio Cañucal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baiarte Rincon struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aurelio Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azulejos. Chuse Gaztelumendi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Aznar Urrechua, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Azulejos's Baiarte Rincon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Nazario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Baiarte Rincon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baiarte Rincon might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Nazario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baiarte Rincon ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Azulejos's zone, Oinaz Alfebra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Umea Gavilanes came out of the goal and Oinaz Alfebra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umea Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladio Cañucal in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the America D cali Hades Fede players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Azulejos.
