Guilllermo Gibaja hit a great ball. Ixona Borregon, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Ekain Esterina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAPUS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekain Esterina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Loi Torienzo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, PAPUS FC's Vermudo Azua tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Perrando Valben struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Lluques Dueñas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAPUS FC. Guillermo Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alejandro Balanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PAPUS FC's Alejandro Balanza got control of the ball when Guillermo Cortez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bazkoare Pinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Perrando Valben managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAPUS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perrando Valben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lluques Dueñas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blanco Zumel in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Balanza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes into the game, Bazkoare Pinos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lluques Dueñas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Guillermo Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guachegal's Mirande Durana got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Blanco Zumel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Balanza having to interfere. The Guachegal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guachegal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
