Sixto Liebana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Amadeo Antuñano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sixto Liebana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Bonifaco Maide dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iraido Garantos, 1-2. After 37 played minutes cali got a freekick which was hit by Silvino Mendi. The supporters of Bohorquez booed when cali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Vina didn't get a good kick on the ball. cali's Iraido Garantos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfino Aliceda in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Bonifaco Maide made a precise shot to the right of Iraido Garantos. cali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Antuñano to make the kick off. Iraido Garantos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Aliceda in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Delfino Aliceda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bohorquez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 63 minutes into the match, cali's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Villarruel came free, but Iraido Garantos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Faron Quejura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Benedicto Villarruel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iraido Garantos. cali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Villarruel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Bonifaco Maide kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Iraido Garantos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feo Analla in the 81st minute of the match. Silvino Mendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Liebana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvino Mendi in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Bohorquez's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Antuñano came free, but Sixto Liebana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iraido Garantos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feo Analla, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When the referee ended the match the Bohorquez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
