Maquillales's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bingen Carreiras ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sirena's corner Bingen Carreiras fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mede Bolide quite easily take care of the ball. Colas Aza's late challenge caught a Sirena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colas Aza helped the player get up and apologised. Abelardo Lagala hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Deunoro Dobale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Aumada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Blas Villaluenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Sirena's Eriberto Tortoles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mede Bolide. Mede Bolide yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Maquillales's Mede Bolide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Maquillales from getting a goal against them. If Eriberto Tortoles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Aumada kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Bingen Carreiras, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lucas Folgueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Villaluenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Atauri Bidaurre came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Maquillales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atauri Bidaurre couldn't finish the play. Maquillales's Abelardo Lagala got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Maquillales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sirena's performance. The match ended with a win for Sirena.
