After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mendebal Loro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Mendebal Loro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignatius Castrejana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mendebal Loro came free, but Ignatius Castrejana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gian-Carlo Gorbin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Perez Vallejoller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignatius Castrejana came out of the goal and Matia Gainza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignatius Castrejana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matia Gainza in the 97th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vodka Juniors F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Atlético Nacional for much of the match.
