The supporters of Cordero FC booed when BORU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Ororbia didn't get a good kick on the ball. BORU's Frasco Pastor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save BORU from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, BORU's Frasco Pastor got control of the ball when Nastasio Saa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xan Lizanein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Godofredo Ricaredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Che Omente made a kick off. Niguel Iruleta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nastasio Saa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Frasco Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niguel Iruleta in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frasco Pastor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nastasio Saa came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cordero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nastasio Saa couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Nastasio Saa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frasco Pastor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Nastasio Saa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frasco Pastor having to make a save. When Niguel Iruleta came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cordero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niguel Iruleta couldn't finish the play. After 94 minutes, Costante Marti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORU and the Cordero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
