Bidari Ferrero came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barcelona's Theodore Orejo. But to his dismay, Theodore Orejo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 31 minutes into the game, Uxio Aranguren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tibalt Moraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarius Limon came free, but Tibalt Moraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Varlett struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Tibalt Moraza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Bogotá. After 46 minutes, Bieito Elguea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Bogotá and the FC Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Bogotá's Bieito Elguea got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Varlett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cheche Rechani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bidari Ferrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Orejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barcelona's Tibalt Moraza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. With his leg Tibalt Moraza managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sporting Bogotá's Uxio Aranguren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bieito Elguea was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69th match minute, Sporting Bogotá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bieito Elguea to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sporting Bogotá's Enol Verdenosa got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Albano Zumiel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sporting Bogotá's Bidari Ferrero didn't even have to move. Uxio Aranguren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibalt Moraza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Theodore Orejo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bidari Ferrero was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
