The audience was convinced that Pes Arguiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karlos Labiada was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Karlos Labiada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pes Arguiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Cueva's Fernanco Suazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karlos Labiada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernanco Suazo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pes Arguiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Pes Arguiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Labiada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernanco Suazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rosas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Pes Arguiz scored to the left of an out of position Karlos Labiada, making the score, 0-1. After 60 minutes of play, Cueva's Fernanco Suazo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karlos Labiada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernanco Suazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Karlos Labiada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Udobro kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Pes Arguiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karlos Labiada having to interfere. When Erlantz Urturi fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosas FC's protests and gave Erlantz Urturi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, one of Rosas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosas FC. Fernanco Suazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karlos Labiada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernanco Suazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armando Udobro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosas FC's protests and gave Armando Udobro a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Rosas FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Udobro. In the 96th minute, Fernanco Suazo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute, Rosas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernanco Suazo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match was over Cueva could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosas FC throughout the match.
