An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidencio Navarro in the 36th minute of play forced LEGONZ FC's goalkeeper Hibai Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gai Urquiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. California's supporters rose to their feet, but Gai Urquiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hibai Martines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, California's goal looked a bit too open when Oxel Balli came free, but Rico Capellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gai Urquiola came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the California fans jumped to their feet.
