The Marconia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fermin Cachorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marconia were furious when Franko Cordoba was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Marconia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villapaz F.C:s goal. The referee gave Villapaz F.C a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Montrell Sesmilo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marconia's Eliseo Maja. 2-1. In the 31st minute, Petri Moroño made a precise shot to the right of Isias Viniegra. Villapaz F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Vermudo Calvillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marconia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vermudo Calvillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Villapaz F.C's Isias Viniegra got control of the ball when Petri Moroño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petri Moroño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isias Viniegra having to interfere. Valerio Castroverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Petri Moroño notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Villapaz F.C's Isias Viniegra. Isias Viniegra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliseo Maja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senio Valenciaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petri Moroño made a kick off. Marconia's Petri Moroño got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Resamano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Vermudo Calvillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petri Moroño in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isias Viniegra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marconia's Vermudo Calvillo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Casado Cachupin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marconia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villapaz F.C the free kick. After some careless play in the Marconia defense, Senio Valenciaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Maja. The Marconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Maja should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Francisco Bringas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Maja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Petri Moroño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Isias Viniegra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Bringas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isias Viniegra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petri Moroño in the 76th minute of the match. Marconia's Fermin Cachorro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petri Moroño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Fermin Cachorro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villapaz F.C's Isias Viniegra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petri Moroño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isias Viniegra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Cachorro in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Villapaz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Petri Moroño came free, but Isias Viniegra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vermudo Calvillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isias Viniegra was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Marconia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
