Nicolas Cue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Che Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marino Carredano in the 3rd minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Julio Folguera notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of La vinotinto's Che Marino. Che Marino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Folguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Che Marino having to interfere. A collision led to La vinotinto getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Oinaz Urquia hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Urtats Ganzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La vinotinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urtats Ganzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La vinotinto's Sendoa Poblaciones got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urtats Ganzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Matai Entia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Pueblitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifaco Posiga to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes La vinotinto got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Cue. 40 minutes into the match, La vinotinto's goalkeeper Che Marino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Folguera. When Terciero Guinea fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La vinotinto's protests and gave Terciero Guinea a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in La vinotinto's zone, Julio Folguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Che Marino came out of the goal and Julio Folguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marino Carredano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sendoa Poblaciones was the one to do the kick off. Pueblitos's Matai Entia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sendoa Poblaciones in the 54th minute of play. La vinotinto's Sendoa Poblaciones got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Che Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marino Carredano in the 61st minute of the match. With his leg Matai Entia managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when La vinotinto's Urtats Ganzo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Urtats Ganzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75th play minutes Sendoa Poblaciones shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Matai Entia and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblitos's zone, Urtats Ganzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matai Entia came out of the goal and Urtats Ganzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Pueblitos's goal looked a bit too open when Sendoa Poblaciones came free, but Matai Entia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urtats Ganzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matai Entia having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Folguera during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julio Folguera kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A hard shot 95 in the game by Urtats Ganzo from a close distance when the talented Matai Entia managed to make a qualified save. Pueblitos's players were relieved. In the 97th minute Sendoa Poblaciones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matai Entia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over La vinotinto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pueblitos throughout the match.
