An unexpectedly hard shot by Caracakingo Santavida in the 18th minute of play forced independiente's goalkeeper Montae Arena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mundo Calvon during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to independiente getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mundo Calvon hit a great ball. Christobal Arzallos made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Montae Arena would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 25 minutes into the match, independiente's Froila Guillamon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pio Yanez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froila Guillamon in the 29th minute of play forced MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol's goalkeeper Pio Yanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol's zone, Cleto Envito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pio Yanez came out of the goal and Cleto Envito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christobal Arzallos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Montae Arena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgardo Falguera was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Edgardo Falguera kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, independiente's Obeko Rano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Envito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Piñeros charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demetrio Piñeros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Demetrio Piñeros hit a great ball. Cleto Envito struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Pio Yanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for independiente. Froila Guillamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pio Yanez having to interfere. Froila Guillamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Froila Guillamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froila Guillamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cleto Envito took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Pio Yanez to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, Froila Guillamon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pio Yanez. The goal made the score 0-4. Froila Guillamon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pio Yanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match independiente got a corner. MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Obeko Rano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Obeko Rano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pio Yanez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute, Andres Eiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cleto Envito 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 94th minute, Froila Guillamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over independiente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MORFEO FC DeusDeFútbol throughout the match.
