Henrico Irazu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mederi Malla in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Jurdan Cistero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrico Irazu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Furtado Baamonde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pitica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Furtado Baamonde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Furtado Baamonde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pitica's Furtado Baamonde got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dubardo Jordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurdan Cistero in the 29th minute of play forced Pitica's goalkeeper Henrico Irazu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chachagui FC booed when Pitica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilo Molla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medero Cañizares to strike the kick off in the second half. Pitica's Henrico Irazu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bembe Jimeno in the 51st minute of play. Furtado Baamonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocendo Vime having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chachagui FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
