Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Pitica's zone, Diogo Alaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrico Irazu came out of the goal and Diogo Alaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Alaña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrico Irazu having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Alaña in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrico Irazu saved Pitica from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Rayo Verde FC's goalkeeper Veremundo Guardamino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Furtado Baamonde. Ebardo Cedofeita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Medero Cañizares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rayo Verde FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Medero Cañizares 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Ekialde Blancas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Pitica got a freekick which was hit by Peru Corrales. 46 minutes into the match, Diogo Alaña notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pitica's Henrico Irazu. Henrico Irazu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Furtado Baamonde in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veremundo Guardamino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Medero Cañizares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veremundo Guardamino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medero Cañizares in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Furtado Baamonde had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Veremundo Guardamino. Rayo Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Furtado Baamonde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Diogo Alañas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Henrico Irazu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ebardo Cedofeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ebardo Cedofeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrico Irazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Medero Cañizares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Veremundo Guardamino was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Furtado Baamonde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veremundo Guardamino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medero Cañizares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Pitica got a freekick which was hit by Peru Corrales. In the 89th minute, Oton Oquerruri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrico Irazu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Alaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Rayo Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Cañizares came free, but Veremundo Guardamino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pitica support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
