Batista Alderete charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Roi Goya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Roi Goya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximenez Tegerina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roi Goya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sindo Astozas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximenez Tegerina having to interfere. Francia Champions's Ximenez Tegerina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roi Goya in the 12th minute of play. Atilano Casares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roi Goya in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ximenez Tegerina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 25 played minutes Francia Champions got a freekick which was hit by Bento Golpe. After a rather tough play, Libertadores's Teodoro Ballin got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Francia Champions's Atilano Casares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Transito Labrada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francia Champions's Ximenez Tegerina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roi Goya in the 38th minute of play. Ximenez Tegerina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roi Goya's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Atilano Casares struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Transito Labrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Francia Champions. Sindo Astozas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximenez Tegerina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Francia Champions! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sindo Astozas in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ximenez Tegerina saved Francia Champions from getting behind. Batista Alderete got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ximenez Tegerina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roi Goya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Libertadores's Sindo Astozas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ximenez Tegerina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Libertadores walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
