Truylos Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Beranga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atauri Quer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes in the game, Galsino Arrascarate fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roger Bueno having to interfere. In the 38th of the match, Galsino Arrascarate tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Roger Bueno got in the way and made a wonderful save. After the first half AC Alejandria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galsino Arrascarate in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Bueno saved AC Alejandria from getting behind. Galsino Arrascarate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Bueno having to interfere. The supporters of AC Alejandria booed when Manchester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Elias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galsino Arrascarate in the 69th minute of the match. If Galsino Arrascarate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcelo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Manchester united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Truylos Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Beranga in the 77th minute of play. Atauri Quer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Roger Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galsino Arrascarate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galsino Arrascarate in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Aguiar's late challenge caught a AC Alejandria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Marcelo Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galsino Arrascarate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Bueno having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, AC Alejandria's goal looked a bit too open when Atauri Quer came free, but Roger Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galsino Arrascarate, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Manchester united manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing AC Alejandria to win.
