Paulo Baizan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bortzaioriz Rieta having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Kaiet Peñin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaiet Peñin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes, Kaiet Peñin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. HSEQ FC's Bortzaioriz Rieta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Futtown's Roi Iturrate got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in HSEQ FC's zone, Kaiet Peñin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bortzaioriz Rieta came out of the goal and Kaiet Peñin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind HSEQ FC's goalkeeper Bortzaioriz Rieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cecilio Bascal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Armental in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Futtown's Ronaldo Ubago got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Guib Camara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cecilio Bascal. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Futtown's goal looked a bit too open when Guib Camara came free, but Cecilio Bascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Paulo Baizan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiz Gorron's late challenge caught a HSEQ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiz Gorron helped the player get up and apologised. Cecilio Bascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guib Camara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guib Camara took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Bascal. Cecilio Bascal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 73 minutes into the game, one of Futtown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benigno Pizarro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ronaldo Ubago kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Benigno Pizarro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cecilio Bascal. Futtown's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of HSEQ FC booed when Futtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Iturrate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Benigno Pizarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. HSEQ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Pizarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Bascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Guib Camara made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Bascal. Futtown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. HSEQ FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
