Herminio Castelao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esiquio Osma, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 79 minutes of play, Cabrales FC's Emanuel Cañas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zaquiel Sepulveda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herminio Castelao made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Flor Grados sent off a good shot on target. Zaquiel Sepulveda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Cañas in the 87th minute of play. Archibaldo Gainzarain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Zaquiel Sepulveda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
