Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 20) Invictus F.C.'s Felipe Sota started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Sota came free, but Mauro Gota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Misael Anguciana hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Arsenio Menchaca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Menchaca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Menchaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Menchaca in the 10th minute of play forced Invictus F.C.'s goalkeeper Valentin Kollberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Junior FC's Arsenio Menchaca in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mauro Gota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus F.C.. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidro Iturcha in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Kollberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Invictus F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Junior FC:s goal. Sidro Iturcha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Kollberg having to interfere. Sidro Iturcha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Valentin Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Invictus F.C.'s Maximiliano Castaneda got a free kick in the 45th minute. Valentin Kollberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Menchaca's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Menchaca made a kick off. Felipe Sota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Arsenio Menchaca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Menchaca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Kollberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Menchaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Kollberg having to interfere. Mauro Gota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Sota went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The Invictus F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
