When Todosnovan's Petri Hondon in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canuya FC's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the match, Todosnovan's Xzavion Cabaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Txeru Nuñez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Canuya FC's Txeru Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xzavion Cabaña in the 11th minute of play. Petri Hondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Canuya FC's zone, Petri Hondon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Txeru Nuñez came out of the goal and Petri Hondon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Canuya FC's Lastur Borroel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Lastur Borroel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mingo Cimbrelo, 1-1. Txeru Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petri Hondon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Petri Hondon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Txeru Nuñez was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Nereo Galarza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canuya FC and the Todosnovan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Canuya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Galarza to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Petri Hondon in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Txeru Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petri Hondon in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Urtsua Rebollar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canuya FC and the Todosnovan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urtsua Rebollar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzavion Cabaña in the 43rd minute of play forced Canuya FC's goalkeeper Txeru Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xzavion Cabaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Txeru Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xzavion Cabaña ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xzavion Cabaña to make the kick off. Txeru Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Xzavion Cabaña sent off a good shot on target. Lastur Borroel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Txeru Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xzavion Cabaña went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Canuya FC's zone, Xzavion Cabaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Txeru Nuñez came out of the goal and Xzavion Cabaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xzavion Cabaña came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Txeru Nuñez could save by the left post. Brion Sisquella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 91st minute of the match Urtsua Rebollar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Urtsua Rebollar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Canuya FC got a freekick which was hit by Urtsua Rebollar. Xzavion Cabaña who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Txeru Nuñez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Todosnovan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
