After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Bladi Candelaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bladi Candelaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salamon Rapado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Stefano Sotilla came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Timba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefano Sotilla couldn't finish the play. Romildo Corzana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soin Rioseco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Sacampues FC's Garcia Borges made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romildo Corzana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Salamon Rapado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tab Pazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tab Pazo scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salamon Rapado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bladi Candelaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Salamon Rapado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timba FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Telesforo Amigo 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Bladi Candelaria got free with Salamon Rapado in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Salamon Rapado came out of the goal and Bladi Candelaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Ferran Roces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Timba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Pardelas came free, but Romildo Corzana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timba FC's Romildo Corzana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Borges in the 66th minute of play. Romildo Corzana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Pardelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Garcia Borges hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Tab Pazo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Salamon Rapado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timba FC. If Tab Pazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sacampues FC's Telesforo Amigo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Salamon Rapado came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Timba FC's Stefano Sotilla. But to his dismay, Stefano Sotilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Romildo Corzana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soin Rioseco in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Timba FC defense, Soin Rioseco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romildo Corzana. The Timba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romildo Corzana should have stopped the shot. Romildo Corzana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sacampues FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Timba FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
