But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Cespedes couldn't finish the play. Calisto Trevilla charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calisto Trevilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tamarindo FC booed when Horizente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calisto Trevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horizente's Maore Lete shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kaxen Irulegui but with some difficulty. Hanni Reigosa succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Orixe Corres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herensuge Anguiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Cespedes in the 46th minute of play forced Horizente's goalkeeper Orixe Corres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A collision led to Horizente getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Calisto Trevilla hit a great ball. In the 52ndth minute of the game Eulalio Cespedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horizente's Orixe Corres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gau Notes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaxen Irulegui having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hanni Reigosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horizente's supporters rose to their feet, but Hanni Reigosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaxen Irulegui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Hanni Reigosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaxen Irulegui. Tamarindo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hanni Reigosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Kaxen Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hanni Reigosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaxen Irulegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gau Notes in the 68th minute of play. Calisto Trevilla hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Herensuge Anguiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Orixe Corres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, one of Tamarindo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tamarindo FC:s Kaxen Irulegui showed great skill when he stopped Joseph Murias:s penalty. After 79 minutes Tamarindo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Murias who took care of the corner kick. Gau Notes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lore Trevilla hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Orixe Corres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Cespedes's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes of play, Tamarindo FC's Herensuge Anguiano made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orixe Corres was left in no man's land by his defense there!
