Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ximenes Mendez took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Cordarin Ochari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamarindo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varsovia FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, Feliberto Bolivar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tamarindo FC's Kaxen Irulegui didn't even have to move. Eulalio Cespedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximenes Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaxen Irulegui having to interfere. Kaxen Irulegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berbiz Menocal in the 14th minute of play. Varsovia FC's Berbiz Menocal got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaxen Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berbiz Menocal scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaxen Irulegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Berbiz Menocal came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Varsovia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berbiz Menocal couldn't finish the play. Eulalio Cespedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ximenes Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaxen Irulegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Varsovia FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Meendez Castañiza hit a great ball. After the first half Varsovia FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Cespedes to make the kick off. Kaxen Irulegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 88 minutes into the game, Ximenes Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 89th match minute, Varsovia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenes Mendez to maneuver through the defense. If Herensuge Anguiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tamarindo FC's Kaxen Irulegui got control of the ball when Berbiz Menocal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kaxen Irulegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenes Mendez in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Berbiz Menocal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Varsovia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Varsovia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
