Cordarell Cotillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herensuge Anguiano got free with Cordarell Cotillo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curasica's goalkeeper Cordarell Cotillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Jax Bolivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaxen Irulegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Curasica getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Xicu Cembranos hit a great ball. When Eulalio Cespedes came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tamarindo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Cespedes couldn't finish the play. Tamarindo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laffitte Mañaria in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Herensuge Anguiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cordarell Cotillo. Herensuge Anguiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Curasica's Xamo Zunzunegui in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tamarindo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kaxen Irulegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xamo Zunzunegui's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Tamarindo FC defense, Xamo Zunzunegui kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaxen Irulegui. The Tamarindo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaxen Irulegui should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Curasica booed when Tamarindo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emenon Varo. didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Xamo Zunzunegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute, one of Tamarindo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tamarindo FC. In the 56th minute, Elizardo Salabaste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xamo Zunzunegui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaxen Irulegui having to make a save. Kaxen Irulegui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamo Zunzunegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Xamo Zunzunegui put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kaxen Irulegui. Curasica's Jax Bolivar got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tamarindo FC's Emenon Varo. got a free kick in the 69th minute. Curasica's Xamo Zunzunegui was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 78 played minutes Curasica got a freekick which was hit by Viator Hiriart. If Herensuge Anguiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jax Bolivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Emenon Varo. hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curasica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
