Curasica's Cordarell Cotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hanni Reigosa in the 21st minute of play. Gau Notes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarell Cotillo having to interfere. Cordarell Cotillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hanni Reigosa's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The supporters of Curasica booed when Horizente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Junco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gau Notes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarell Cotillo having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Xicu Cembranos charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xicu Cembranos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elizardo Salabaste hit a great ball. When Gau Notes came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Horizente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gau Notes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Curasica getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Elizardo Salabaste hit a great ball. Hanni Reigosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamo Zunzunegui in the 96th minute of play forced Horizente's goalkeeper Orixe Corres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Horizente players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Curasica.
