Ekaitz Asas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Vigia's Ekaitz Asas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vigia from getting a goal against them. When Manuel Rey came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Jaraquin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Rey couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Gürel Saykut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Semih Şentürk fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaraquin's protests and gave Semih Şentürk a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jaraquin! Rogerio Archimbaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eguzki Gainza charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eguzki Gainza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürel Saykut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Eguzki Gainza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 54th minute Gürel Saykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekaitz Asas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekaitz Asas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürel Saykut in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürel Saykut in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekaitz Asas saved Club Vigia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gürel Saykut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekaitz Asas was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Gürel Saykut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ekaitz Asas having to make a save. Ekaitz Asas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafal Wolczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürel Saykut in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekaitz Asas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Club Vigia's Micael Nabarro got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Gürel Saykut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Vigia's Ekaitz Asas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gürel Saykut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekaitz Asas having to interfere. Ekaitz Asas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürel Saykut in the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jaraquin fully deserved thier win.
