Francisco Iruegas charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Iruegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Cubarro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Iruegas to maneuver through the defense. Venerando Ondategui was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Alberto Magaña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Magaña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 23rdth minute of the game Erramun Telo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suegui FC's Zunbeltz Zugasti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Precioso Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zunbeltz Zugasti. Suegui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Precioso Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Suegui FC booed when Cubarro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Precioso Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Erramun Telo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erramun Telo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Precioso Sancho got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zunbeltz Zugasti was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Venerando Ondategui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Magaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Precioso Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zunbeltz Zugasti. Suegui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Precioso Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Cubarro got a freekick which was hit by Costante Jorge. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Magaña in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venerando Ondategui saved Cubarro from getting behind. Cubarro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
