Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horado Cacho in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavon Herbias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Horado Cacho sped through Regeneración's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xavon Herbias. If Toli Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horado Cacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Corcega FC's Toli Rius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavon Herbias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Regeneración defense, Horado Cacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavon Herbias. The Regeneración fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavon Herbias should have stopped the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Toli Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corcega FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toli Rius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliu Bilbao charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliu Bilbao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Corcega FC's Quintan Guedeja tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toli Rius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Regeneración booed when Corcega FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarbonin Copeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Regeneración's Ikatz Torrecillas got a free kick in the 56th minute. Xavon Herbias was a little too slow when Toli Rius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. 62 minutes in the game, Horado Cacho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xavon Herbias having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Xavon Herbias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toli Rius in the 65th minute of play forced Regeneración's goalkeeper Xavon Herbias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Toli Rius put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Xavon Herbias. Toli Rius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavon Herbias having to make a save. Horado Cacho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Xavon Herbias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcega FC. Toli Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Xavon Herbias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Regeneración's goal looked a bit too open when Toli Rius came free, but Xavon Herbias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ikatz Torrecillas in the 83rd minute of play forced Corcega FC's goalkeeper Mariano Pardelas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toli Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavon Herbias having to interfere. Eliu Bilbao kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toli Rius in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavon Herbias saved Regeneración from getting behind. In the 99th minute Toli Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavon Herbias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
