After 26 minutes of play, Cabras FC's Arsenio Neyda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inaki Cembrana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tancredo Tio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, CHIRIMENDOZA's goalkeeper Inaki Cembrana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arsenio Neyda. If Librado Santayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Handi Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egoitz Clemente, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Tio in the 42nd minute of play forced CHIRIMENDOZA's goalkeeper Inaki Cembrana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cabras FC's Handi Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Librado Santayana in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tancredo Tio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Arsenio Neyda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inaki Cembrana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cabras FC's Handi Linares got control of the ball when Egoitz Clemente tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, CHIRIMENDOZA's Egoitz Clemente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Handi Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tancredo Tio in the 64th minute of play forced CHIRIMENDOZA's goalkeeper Inaki Cembrana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Handi Linares managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when CHIRIMENDOZA's Egoitz Clemente fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute, Matxin Saladrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egoitz Clemente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Handi Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Egoitz Clemente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When CHIRIMENDOZA's Librado Santayana in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabras FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Librado Santayana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Egoitz Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHIRIMENDOZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egoitz Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 minutes, Demetrio Sandoval mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabras FC and the CHIRIMENDOZA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Demetrio Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matxin Saladrigues during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Librado Santayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egoitz Clemente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Handi Linares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. CHIRIMENDOZA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
