With an all-out effort, Angola FC's Gaspar Trilla threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabino Sousa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iigo Ciscal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Cedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibar Cayado in the 32nd minute of play.
